27th of June 2024, from 1 – 2.30 pm, the Adam Kurniawan Library hosted an inspiring event centered on the theme “Breaking the Glass Ceiling” for women’s careers. The keynote speaker, Dr. Christina Liem, delivered a powerful address to an intimate audience of around 30 attendees, emphasizing the importance of gender equality and empowerment in the professional sphere.
Dr. Liem, a renowned advocate for women’s rights and an accomplished academic, captivated the audience with her insights and personal anecdotes. She highlighted women’s challenges in various industries and shared strategies for overcoming these obstacles.
“Breaking the glass ceiling is not just a metaphor,” Dr. Liem began. “It’s a reality that many women encounter daily. Our goal is to recognize these barriers and actively dismantle them.”
