Adam Kurniawan Library, President University – Minister of Research Technology and Higher Education (Menristekdikti) Mohamad Nasir, officially launched a series of activities to commemorate the 23rd National Technology Awakening Day (Hakteknas) which will be held in Pekanbaru Riau on August 10, 2018.
The event was colored by various Hakteknas activities this year which took the theme “Innovation for Food and Energy Independence”, where the Hakteknas activities this time are expected to be able to encourage the realization of the Indonesian Development Vision proclaimed by President Joko Widodo and is a great aspiration for the manifestation of food and energy sovereignty become a world strategic issue and has been determined to be one of the goals of Indonesia’s science and technology development and development priorities until 2025.
“This is an award for Bumi Lancang Kuning Riau Province to be the first Province on Sumatra Island to host 2018 Hakteknas. Riau Province is ready to support the 2018 National Hakteknas implementation,” said Arsyadjuliandi.
This year’s Hakteknas Commemoration was held to recognize the dedication and achievements of all components of the nation that have developed science and technology and innovation for the improvement, competitiveness, and independence of the nation. Also as an effort to encourage synergy of roles and functions of Stakeholders in the regions of government, academia, business, society and the mass media.
